If you're looking for a place to eat in Singapore, then there is a place near Singapore River called Clarke Quay. You can find american, italian, thai, indian and of course chinese and malay food here. Plus, you can ride a boat taxi that will sail the river for 1 1/2 hour. The best time to be here is in the evening since only a few restaurants open during lunch.
Nice advertising? hehehe, honestly I have yet to try the food here but I am certainly looking forward eating a chili crab here once my wife visits me on July.
