Eat where the locals eat

Before I went here, I was afraid that I might not be able to adjust with the local food here. They told me that most of the food here comes with curry and I dont like curry. Luckily, most Singaporean are chinese and I love chinese food. I just have to tell them not to put curry on it.

For this one, it is combination of fried pork and another pork plus a dimsum soup. It only costs around SGD 5.00 in the hawker center. You can find hawker centers almost on every corner of Singapore, this is where most locals eat. Aside from it is cheaper to eat here than that from the mall, there is also a wide variety of food to choose from.

So if ever you'll find yourself in Singapore, eat where the locals eat.

Those are not "dim sum" soup, it's actually "wanton" soup or "sui jiao" soup. That's FAR FAR from dim sum. Anyway, what you have there is a roast pork rice, and the sauce is usually the nice sweet master sauce. They are really nice, especially with chilli! You've got to try the chilli, it taste really different from eating the rice alone without it...
